Preservation of Our Heritage

Preservation of Our Heritage is a Class 10 Social Science chapter for GSEB students. It helps students understand the importance of protecting India’s historical, cultural, natural, and artistic heritage and the need to pass these valuable legacies on to future generations.
 

The chapter explores the importance of conserving monuments, traditions, art, literature, and other heritage resources. It encourages students to recognise threats to heritage, understand preservation efforts, and develop a sense of responsibility towards protecting India’s rich heritage.
 

The chapter develops Heritage Awareness, Cultural Awareness, Historical Thinking, Conservation Awareness, Environmental Awareness, Critical Thinking, Observation Skills, Research Skills, Analytical Thinking, and Social Responsibility.
