Let’s Eat Together is a Class 4 Environmental Studies chapter from Looking Around 1 for GSEB students. The chapter explores the joy of eating together, sharing food, celebrating festivals, and understanding how food brings people together. It begins with a class party where children bring different dishes from home and enjoy eating, playing, singing, and dancing together.
Students learn about Uttarayan, traditional foods such as Undhiyu, Til ladoo, chikki, jalebi, and Bor, and the special preparations made for festivals. The chapter also discusses the mid-day meal at school, including washing hands, eating together, different weekly menus, sharing food, preventing food waste, and making sure every child receives a fresh and nutritious meal.
