Equiality in Democarcy

Equality in Democracy is a Class 7 Social Science chapter for GSEB students. It introduces students to the meaning of equality and explains why equal rights, opportunities, and treatment are important in a democratic society.
 

The chapter explores how democracy promotes equality among citizens and helps students understand issues related to discrimination, inclusion, dignity, and fairness. It encourages them to recognise unequal situations and think about ways to promote equality in everyday life.
 

The chapter develops Civic Awareness, Social Awareness, Critical Thinking, Observation Skills, Analytical Thinking, Communication Skills, Empathy, Decision-Making Skills, Problem-Solving Skills, and Life Skills.
