Ear to ear

Ear to Ear is a Class 4 Environmental Studies chapter from Looking Around 1 for GSEB students. The chapter helps children observe and compare animals through their ears, skin, hair, feathers, and other body features. It begins with an activity where children identify the correct ears of different animals.
 

Students learn that some animals have visible ears, while the ears of birds, lizards, and crocodiles may not be easily seen. The chapter also explores animal skin patterns, hair and feathers, and whether animals lay eggs or give birth to babies. Activities include identifying animals from their skin patterns, classifying animals by visible ears and body covering, learning about pets, and observing the peacock as India’s National Bird.
