Title Formatting Adventure

Do you want your titles to stand out the right way? By going on a Title Formatting Adventure, you’ll learn the simple rules that make book names, story titles, and articles look correct. This playsheet helps you practice capitalizing and formatting so your writing looks neat and professional.
You’ll explore how the first and last words of a title are always capitalized, along with all important words like nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Smaller words—such as and, of, in, and the—usually stay lowercase unless they come first or last.
Through correction and rewriting activities, you’ll practice fixing titles that are written incorrectly. For example, the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe becomes The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Each challenge builds your confidence in applying the rules consistently.
