The World of Limitless Possibilities is an inspiring chapter from the Grade 9 English textbook Kaveri that introduces students to the world of Paralympics and the extraordinary achievements of para-athletes. The chapter mainly focuses on an interview with Dr. Deepa Malik, India’s celebrated Paralympian and award-winning athlete, who transformed her life after becoming paralysed waist down due to a spinal tumour. Her journey from hardship to success teaches readers the true meaning of determination, resilience, and confidence.
 

Through the interview, students learn how Dr. Deepa Malik challenged societal stereotypes and proved that physical limitations cannot stop a person from achieving greatness. The chapter highlights her achievements, including winning a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and becoming one of the most inspirational women para-athletes globally.
